Let’s talk body types for a minute.
(If you don’t know yours, keep scrolling. We will get to that!)
We’ve all had that piece of clothing we were SO excited to purchase, then put on and H A T E D, right?
It looked good on the model, your friend, the mannequin- but it just doesn’t on you.
Here is where body shape comes into play. Knowing your shape (hour glass, apple, pear, and rectangle are the most common types) can help you to find items that work will for your body, and also how to style them!
Women weren’t made from a “one size fits all” mold. We come in all shapes and sizes.
For reference I am a pear shape!
If you don’t know your shape, I would start with the image below! This is the easiest way to find it.

Keep in mind – body shape is not the same as body size. Body size is an individual’s body measurement. So someone who is a size 4 can be a pear and so can someone who is a size 12!
