Gut Connection Kids- Supplements for Littles.

Any other moms feel like they’re always searching for the best products for their little ones?

As my kids get older finding good supplements has become increasingly important. The more time I spent researching, the more I realized how hard it is to find good affordable ones!

When we had the chance to try Gut Connection Life by Country Kids, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of products and the price! We have tried all four options- Cognitive Balance. Digestive Balance, Immune Balance, and Sleep Balance. Their company believes in raising the bar in integrity and authenticity, which just made me like them more!

I received this product for free from Moms Meet (momsmeet.com) to use and post my honest opinions. Compensation for this post was provided and this page may contain affiliate links.

The #1 favorite here is the Sleep Balance! It is a chocolate flavored powder, and we love to mix it up in a healthy smoothie one hour before bed. My kids can always use all the help they can get in the sleep department, and this powder provides us a healthy way to help ease them into bedtime! Along with a seamless combination of helpful gut-focused ingredients, each serving contains Lactium, a patented bioactive peptide coming from milk, used widely in Europe to reduce stress so that kids can fall asleep faster and longer.

#2 on the favorites list is the Cognitive Balance! It has a powerful probiotic blend to maintain gut health and support communication between the central nervous and digestive systems. With school in full swing, both Mason and Maddison love knowing their fueling their bodies with some extra help! These chewables are also taste approved by them, which isn’t always an easy task.

Immune Balance is a big winner for this mama, especially this time of year! It is a blend of prebiotics balanced with other immune-supporting ingredients to support a strong and healthy immune system and improve gut microbiome health.

Last but most certainly not least is the Digestive Balance! The focus for this one is to provide kids with the nutrients they need to maintain good immune and gut health, help reduce occasional discomfort/bloating, and even improve weekly bowel movements.

These products are intended for children aged 4-12. However, adults can also take this product by following the directions for the 9-12 year old dosage.

All products are available for purchase on countrylifevitamins.com, and you can get 20% off of your entire order with the code MOMS20 at checkout!

So, out of the 4 products, which intrigues you the most?!

5 Items You Need in Your Fall Wardrobe!

Ahh. Fall. How I missed you.

I don’t know about you guys, but fall is my absolute favorite time to put outfits together! Give me all the layers!

So here are 5 items that I consider fall staples in my closet. Whether you pair them all together, or only wear one, the outfit possibilities are endless! 🍂

1. A good cozy cardigan

Truthfully this is a year round must for me! I love the finished look they give, while still being comfortable! I do tend to gravitate towards my neutral/earth toned cardis because they go with EVERYTHING. Here are some current favorites. ⇣

Top Left– $23! // Top Middle– comes in EIGHT colors and only $25! // Top Right – comes in other colors! // Bottom Left– this has an thermal look that I LOVE // Bottom Middle– SO many pattern options s for this one! // Top Right– EIGHT colors for this one too!

2. A flannel. Or 8. 😉

Fall is flannel season! 🙌🏻 I love how they continue to stay in style year after year, and they are SO good for layering! My go-to is finishing off my outfit with a flannel tied around my waist. It looks cute, and provides an extra layer if that fall breeze picks up. 😉

Top Left // Top Middle // Top Right // Bottom Left // Bottom Middle // Bottom Right

3. Graphic T’s!

Give me ALL the graphic T’s. It’s no secret that I love a good casual look, and graphic tees give outfits such a fun spin! Pair them with a pair of distressed jeans, some cute booties, and your good to go! Or add some texture with a flannel/cardigan/both! See- outfit options are endless. 😉

Top Left // Top Middle // Top Right // Bottom Left // Bottom Middle // Bottom Right (only $8!)

4. Mom Jeans!

Okay okay. I know these aren’t everyone’s jam. Here me out.

These hug in the right places, while giving a little extra room elsewhere. As much as I love my Jeggings, I also dig the slightly baggy look Mom Jeans offer. Paired with all the above and some cute booties, they’re AMAZING for fall.

Top Left // Top Middle– I own these and LOVE them! Only $22, too! // Top Right // Bottom Left // Bottom Middle // Bottom Right

5. Cognac Accessories.

Yes please.

This one is actually multiple items, but you catch my drift. 😉 We all know accessories can make an entire outfit! Think hat, boots/booties, bag, etc. That cognac color is PERFECT for fall, but also transitional for other seasons! 🙌🏻 Examples are below!

Boots // Belt // Bag // Hat

I hope this was helpful, and gave you some good affordable options, if you’re looking.

Adventure Family Truth Bomb

A split second from our last adventure that looks like we kind of have our crap together.

Spoiler alert- we do not. 🥴

This fishing trip was short lived and involved some tears, the phrase “use your walking feet” played on repeat, and many tangled fishing lines.

I will never claim our outings run seamlessly, because we have three kids and that’s just not a thing. 😂

We have so many “next time we should…” moments, but we’ve also found so many things that work for us.
The chaos comes with the territory, and doesn’t stop us from adventuring.

Do you have any tried and true tips for outdoor adventures with kids? I always love hearing what works for other people!

August Outfit Summary

Another month of this crazy year has come and gone, and now we’re at back-to-school time already!

As sad as I am to say goodbye to summer, September is one of my very favorite months! Before I get too excited about the start of fall, let’s get to last months outfits!

In August I focused a little on finding pieces and outfits to help ease the transition into fall. If you’ve been around for a bit you know I tend to focus on finding items that aren’t truly season specific, but can be worn multiple ways in multiple outfits. This month has some new finds that I’m excited to keep styling!

Wondering what these monthly summaries are all about?

Every month I do a summary of all my outfits I have posted on LIKEtoKNOW.it here on the blog for easy navigation and browsing! I know a lot of people don’t use the LTK app, so this is for you!
