January Outfit Summary

I canโ€™t believe weโ€™re almost to the end of January already! I wanted to try something new this year and do a monthly outfit summary. It will just be an overview of the outfits I have posted on LIKEtoKNOW.it during that month, all in one place!

While we still have a week left of January , I will be out of town next weekend so Iโ€™m getting this done early. If you know me, early isnโ€™t usually my strong suit, so I wouldnโ€™t count on it happening again. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I will add any new posts from next week here as I upload them!

Amazon Gifts for Women Under $20!

I know there are a million and one โ€œgift guidesโ€ floating around this time of year, but here I am with another one. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Amazon gifts for women under $20!

I always have a lot ideas for BIG gifts, but not many for inexpensive ones. Things that are great for coworkers, friends, extended family, or stockings! And I honestly I end up putting these little things off until the last minute, so that prime shipping is my bestie.

{Click the descriptions below to shop each item!}

1. Tarte Mascara // 2. Fedora Hat // 3. Yeti Rambler // 4. Plaid Scarf // 5. Plaid Blanket // 6. Tile // 7. Burtโ€™s Bees Gift Set // 8. Fleece Blanket // 9. Fringe Earrings // 10. Boot Socks // 11. CC Beanie // 12. Plaid Slippers // 13. Pom Beanie // 14. Cross Body Bag

Most of these items are great to give as single gifts, but they can also be combined or added to other gifts to make a DIY gift set. My favorite way to do this is to find a cute basket in place of a bag or wrapping paper. Who doesnโ€™t love decorative baskets, am I right?! Here are a few inexpensive but trendy options! These are all Target finds, so no prime shipping, but in my experience they also have quick turn around times!

1. Grey/White Fabric Basket // 2. Wood Milk Crate // 3. Metal Milk Crate // 4. White Basket

I hope you can find a little something for the people on your list here, or found ideas for your own list! Happy Holidays!

Jerika

Sweater Round Up!

Top Left // Top Right // Bottom Right // Bottom Left // Middle

The air is finally getting crisp, which means SWEATER WEATHER. Iโ€™m a huge fan of cozy pullovers and cardigans for fall and winter. They are versatile, and I love layering them with fun plaids, cute tees, worn over dresses, the list goes on!

Below I have rounded up some great ones from my favorite retailers. I chose some great neutrals that will be easy to transition for different outfits, plus some fun patterned ones! As much as I love new clothes, I have been making more of an effort to purchase items I know I can curate multiple outfits with. That was my goal with this round up! I have also linked some of my favorite pieces to pair with sweaters at the end of this post. Under each group of photos will be links that will take you to the individual item of your choice!

Amazon

Top Left // Top Middle // Top Right // Bottom Left // Bottom Middle // Bottom Right

I love a good Amazon find (hellooo free prime shipping!), and these sweaters are all so good! I recommend reading reviews for sizing, and I always use Prime Wardrobe so I can try out the items before paying. Returns are very easy that way too! I have saved all of these to my Amazon shop for quick browsing. You can find it here!

American Eagle

Top Left // Top Middle // Top Right // Bottom Left // Bottom Middle // Bottom Right

Truthfully, about 80% of my wardrobe came from American Eagle or Aerie. I LOVE their jeggings, and basically everything else. I personally own the top left and top right sweaters and wear them frequently! I have my eye on the rest, and I am sure it won’t be long until they are hanging in my closet too.

*style tip- button up cardigans look so cute done up and tucked in front and it adds another outfit idea in to the rotation.

Old Navy

Patterned Sweater // Long Cardigan // V-Neck Sweater // Cardigan

Old Navy is another go-to for me because I can shop for my whole family and they are almost always having a sale of some sort.

The cardigan on the far right has been a favorite of my followers for a few weeks, and a favorite of mine as well! It is a gorgeous color and pairs so nicely with a lot of different outfits. I also own the v-neck sweater and the color screams fall! It is also long enough to wear with leggings.

Target

Cardigan // Animal Print Sweater // Chenille Sweater // Leopard Print Sweater

That cardigan is what dreams are made of friends. It comes in multiple colors and I can almost guarantee you’ll have a hard time choosing just one. Animal prints are a trend I am obsessed with this fall. Both of these sweaters would look great layered with a solid button up underneath, or worn alone. I have a chenille sweater that I purchased from another retailer for almost twice as much last year. This one comes in multiple colors, but I love that emerald shade to carry through to the holiday season!

Maurices

Buffalo Plaid // Mustard Cardigan // Striped Pullover // Colorblock Pullover

If you are looking for a variety of fun patterns, Maurices has you covered. They also have frequent sales- right now all sweater are BOGO 50% off, plus free shipping on orders over $50!

Pink Blush & Pink Lily Boutique

Pink Blush-Top Left // Top Middle // Top Right

Pink Lily- Bottom Left // Bottom Middle // Bottom Right

These two boutiques have a wide variety of unique products, and have frequent sales! I have had the pleasure of working with them both, and have always loved the quality of their items. I own the rust sweater from Pink Blush and it is SO cozy! It it perfect for leggings too!

Make it an Outfit

Top Left // Top Middle // Top Right // Bottom Left // Bottom Middle // Bottom Right

Distressed jeans and a hat would pair well with pretty much any of the sweaters above. If layering is your thing, a good graphic tee or loose tank are an easy add. Plaid shirts under cardigans or even under a solid pullover add a little pop to a fall outfit. I am also a big fan of pairing a pullover over a dress this fall!

I hope this round up was helpful, and if you need any further styling help feel free to reach out! Use the menu above for contact info!

Our Top 8 Back to School Must Haves!

Back to school time is always crazy and busy for us, especially now that we have 2 out of 3 of our children in grade school. Over the years, we have found a few products that we love, and that help make the transition back a bit easier!

Note This post contains affiliate links. that earn me a small commission at no additional cost to you. I only recommend products I personally use and love, or think that my readers will find useful.

1. Yumbox

Making lunches that kids will actually eat and are quick for them is HARD. I have picky kids, and I never realized how many containers were not so kid-friendly until I had to send them to school. I have tried a few different bento style lunch boxes, and these take the cake. They keep liquids in there own section, and the box itself can be opened easily by both my 2nd grader and my kindergartner! They are a little pricer (around $27-$30, depending on the style you choose), but they are worth it in my opinion! My son has had his for 2 years and its still going strong!

1. Yumbox-Pink 2. Yumbox-Green

2. Stainless Steel Water Bottle

Our kids bring their own water bottles to school, and I prefer to send them with stainless steel ones. They are more durable, and easier to maintain than plastic bottles. I have a few different brands and styles I like, so I will link them all below!

1. Klean Kanteen 2. Hydro Flask 3. Camelbak 4. Contigo

3. Hand Sanitizer/Immunity Support

Those back to school bugs are awful, and we try to do everything we can to stay healthy and avoid them! We use Young Living products to boost our immunity (if you would like more info on anything essential oil related- feel free to reach out!), but there are also some other great brands that have kid-friendly products! I will link some I have tried, or heard great things about below!

1. Babyganics Hand Sanitizer 2. Smarty Pants Vitamin 3. Hello Bello Multi Vitamin 4. Hello Bello Hand Sanitizing Spray

4. Easy and Healthy Snack Foods

When packing lunches or planning for after school snacks, I prefer items that are easy for my kids to open themselves, but are also more nutritious for them. We love Go Go Squeez and Clif Kid products because they fit both of those needs! Both brands offer a wide variety of items, but we love all of Go Go Squeez brands applesauces and yogurtz, and CLIF KID oatmeal cookie bars!

1. Clif Kid ZBar Protein 2. 2. Go Go Squeez 3. Go Go Squeez 4. Clif Kid ZBar Oatmeal Cookie

5. Headphones

This is something that I honestly never thought about until my kids were in school. They use computers and tablets often, and having their own headphones is handy. These specific headphones are comfortable for my kids, but still reasonably priced!

1. Headphones- Pink 2. Headphones- Blue

6. Spacious Lunch Box and Backpack

I know there is SO many character themed bags and lunch boxes and our kids are always all about them, but 9 times out of 10 they offer no storage or space. I prefer to find bags and boxes that have extra pockets or storage spaces, because my kids always carry ALL of the things.

1. Lunch Bag – Unicorn 2. Unicorn Backpack 3. Camo Backpack 4. Lunch Bag- Dino

7. Kid Friendly Shoes

Another trial and error area for us. When I sent my oldest to Kindergarten, I didn’t fully think through the fact that he would be changing shoes on PE days. (maybe your mom brain isn’t as bad off as mine and you don’t need to read this.๐Ÿ˜‰) Having shoes that are easy for them to put on and take off with zero/little help is a good idea!

1. Cat & Jack – Boys Boots 2. Old Navy- Polka Dot Slip-On 3. Toddler Girl Animal Print Sneakers 4. Old Navy Faux-Leather Slip-Ons

8. Clothing Basics

We have a pretty serious clothing addiction in our home, if you haven’t already noticed! I like having some basics to build different outfits with, that are comfy and still fit our style. We LOVE June & January brand for this reason. Their swing dresses are perfect for every season and look so cute layered! I also love Cat & Jack and Old Navy for tees and leggings! I am linking some of my favorites below!

1. Old Navy crew neck tee 2. June & January Swing Dress 3. Cat & Jack leggings- Yellow 4. Cat & Jack leggings- Green 5. Old Navy long sleeve tee- toddler 6. Old Navy raglan tee

All of these things, combined with a good routine and schedule have helped to make our school year run more smoothly. As a family of 5, we need all the help we can get to calm the chaos!
