A split second from our last adventure that looks like we kind of have our crap together.
Spoiler alert- we do not. 🥴
This fishing trip was short lived and involved some tears, the phrase “use your walking feet” played on repeat, and many tangled fishing lines.
I will never claim our outings run seamlessly, because we have three kids and that’s just not a thing. 😂
We have so many “next time we should…” moments, but we’ve also found so many things that work for us. The chaos comes with the territory, and doesn’t stop us from adventuring.
Do you have any tried and true tips for outdoor adventures with kids? I always love hearing what works for other people!
Another month of this crazy year has come and gone, and now we’re at back-to-school time already!
As sad as I am to say goodbye to summer, September is one of my very favorite months! Before I get too excited about the start of fall, let’s get to last months outfits!
In August I focused a little on finding pieces and outfits to help ease the transition into fall. If you’ve been around for a bit you know I tend to focus on finding items that aren’t truly season specific, but can be worn multiple ways in multiple outfits. This month has some new finds that I’m excited to keep styling!

If you wouldn’t say it to your daughter, don’t say it to yourself. 𝘙𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘪𝘵 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯. Now remember that the sweet little girl who makes your world turn is looking to you to show her what self love is. How can we expect them to love themselves if we don’t show them how?
Replace your negatives with positives. Let her know that their worth is not determined by a pant size. Be proud of YOUR body so she knows to be proud of hers. 𝘚𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨. 𝘚𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨. 𝘚𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘶𝘱 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘈𝘕𝘋 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧. 🧡
Most of June consisted of chasing kids around on adventures, enjoying some time unplugged and wearing the same comfy tee and shorts, but I did manage to come up with some fun outfits.
I will say that if you are a t-shirts and jeans kinda girl, this month has some great items for you. 😉
Now for the fun part- the clothes!
