I have got my mind on summer, and summer on my mind. 🏖 Anyone else?!?
We’ve been starting to plan a summer trip, which made me immediately want to start shopping. 😉 Just a few years ago I would dread buying or WEARING a swimsuit. Nothing about it was enjoyable to me. Fast forward to now, and 28 year old me has embraced my body just the way it is and I want ALL the suits! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Below are some of my favorite swim finds! Lots of affordable options because if you’re like me, you can’t have just one!
Keep scrolling for kiddo options!
You didn’t think I would forget the little ones did you?!
Kids swimsuits are actually one of my most favorite things to buy. Each of my littles has multiple, and they all get plenty of use in the summertime! Below are some of my favorites this season, including some that are perfect for sibling matching for SwimZip! There sun protection is next to none.
I know I know. You’ve probably seen this quote floating around A LOT the past few days.
Hear me out.
Since, I don’t know FOREVER?! January has been full of new diets, new fads, change. But WHY do we feel the need to overhaul ourselves just because the year is different?
Truthfully? I like who I am! The extra 2020 weight and all! 😜 Do I have areas I would like to improve in? Sure! But just because it’s 2021 does NOT mean I’m going to just suddenly be able to be a morning person or hate pizza and cookies. I honestly don’t see a need to put all the pressure on myself to attempt to be someone I’m not. Who the hell has time for that?!
If you’re feeling the pressure to loose weight, make a big change or take a big leap- we don’t need to rush those things. Take your time. Starting in January doesn’t make those things any easier or more important. ❤️ And damn it, here is to always improving the people we are, NOT trying to completely change them. 👏🏻
Phew. These past few months just FLEW for us. You may have noticed that September’s outfit summary was never a thing. 🤦🏼♀️ I meant to put it out a little late, then next thing I knew it was October 20th and I decided to just roll it over into the next month.

I don’t know about you guys, but fall is my absolute favorite time to put outfits together! Give me all the layers!
So here are 5 items that I consider fall staples in my closet. Whether you pair them all together, or only wear one, the outfit possibilities are endless! 🍂
1. A good cozy cardigan
Truthfully this is a year round must for me! I love the finished look they give, while still being comfortable! I do tend to gravitate towards my neutral/earth toned cardis because they go with EVERYTHING. Here are some current favorites. ⇣
2. A flannel. Or 8. 😉
Fall is flannel season! 🙌🏻 I love how they continue to stay in style year after year, and they are SO good for layering! My go-to is finishing off my outfit with a flannel tied around my waist. It looks cute, and provides an extra layer if that fall breeze picks up. 😉
3. Graphic T’s!
Give me ALL the graphic T’s. It’s no secret that I love a good casual look, and graphic tees give outfits such a fun spin! Pair them with a pair of distressed jeans, some cute booties, and your good to go! Or add some texture with a flannel/cardigan/both! See- outfit options are endless. 😉
4. Mom Jeans!
Okay okay. I know these aren’t everyone’s jam. Here me out.
These hug in the right places, while giving a little extra room elsewhere. As much as I love my Jeggings, I also dig the slightly baggy look Mom Jeans offer. Paired with all the above and some cute booties, they’re AMAZING for fall.
5. Cognac Accessories.
This one is actually multiple items, but you catch my drift. 😉 We all know accessories can make an entire outfit! Think hat, boots/booties, bag, etc. That cognac color is PERFECT for fall, but also transitional for other seasons! 🙌🏻 Examples are below!
I hope this was helpful, and gave you some good affordable options, if you’re looking.
