Ahh March. What a wild ride you were.

Despite the craziness, I was able to curate some fun outfits geared towards spring! Being able to throw together new looks has been a nice distraction, even if I don’t have any where to wear them to. 😉

5 Spring Tops You Can Take Into Summer- Style Ideas

The air is getting warmer, the snow is melting, and I am ready to transition my closet into spring!











When I shop for new pieces for my wardrobe, I try to find items that I can style multiple ways, and for multiple seasons. It keeps me from filling my closet with things that I won’t wear, or will only wear once or twice. 





I ordered a few new pieces for spring , and I was excited to throw some new outfits together! 





I have styled 5 tops in an outfit spring geared and one that’s a bit more summery! I am big on finding good key pieces to my wardrobe, and fun accessories to mix and match outfits! My MUST haves are a few good pairs of high waisted jeans and shorts (distressed is my jam!), hats, wrap bracelets, simple rings, and statement earrings! It makes it easy to take a core clothing item and build many outfits with it.

1. Peachy Tee

I am OBSESSED with this top. It is a loose, cropped fit and is the perfect pair for my mom jeans AND mom shorts! The number 1 thing I’ve heard about mom jeans is that people don’t know how to style them. Well- this might be my favorite way. If you haven’t figured it out yet, simple is the name of the game here! 😉 I am a sucker for a good graphic tee that fits well, and this one doesn’t disappoint! My favorite thing about graphic tees is the endless outfits possibilities! 





2. Rainbow Cinched Hem Hoodie

I honestly didn’t want to take this one off. Those colors, the neckline, the softness, all of it is just GOOD. It’s cozy enough for spring days, but also has serious beach vibes. And look how well it pairs with colored jeans/shorts! I can’t get enough. 😍










3. Lightweight Colorful Cropped Sweater

This one is a little out of my comfort zone (see #5. 😉) but I am loving these colors! It’s one of those sweaters that you find yourself drawn to every time it’s clean. I know the shorts and sweater look isn’t for everyone, but this Wyoming girl is a fan!










4. Chambray Top/Outdoor Tee

I styled these same tops with black leggings over on my Instagram yesterday, but I couldn’t wait to see how they looked with my go to green bottoms. Honestly, you just can’t go wrong with a good tee and chambray shirt. I’m naming them closet must haves!










5. Kimono & Basic Tank/Tee

It’s no secret that I gravitate towards earth tones and neutrals. These are outfits I can see myself repeating frequently! An easy switch from Jegging crops to shorts and your summer ready. This look is simple, comfy, and flattering- what more could you ask for?! Bonus- this tank is only $8 and comes is a wide variety of colors. After putting this one on, I added a few more to my cart ASAP.

February was a busy month and brought some changes for us! We now have an EIGHT year old, and this girl is 27! I am excited to see where the rest of this year takes us. The air is finally getting crisp, which means SWEATER WEATHER. I’m a huge fan of cozy pullovers and cardigans for fall and winter. They are versatile, and I love layering them with fun plaids, cute tees, worn over dresses, the list goes on!





Below I have rounded up some great ones from my favorite retailers. I chose some great neutrals that will be easy to transition for different outfits, plus some fun patterned ones! As much as I love new clothes, I have been making more of an effort to purchase items I know I can curate multiple outfits with. That was my goal with this round up! I have also linked some of my favorite pieces to pair with sweaters at the end of this post. Under each group of photos will be links that will take you to the individual item of your choice!

 I love a good Amazon find (hellooo free prime shipping!), and these sweaters are all so good! I recommend reading reviews for sizing, and I always use Prime Wardrobe so I can try out the items before paying. Returns are very easy that way too! Truthfully, about 80% of my wardrobe came from  American Eagle or Aerie. I LOVE their jeggings, and basically everything else. I personally own the top left and top right sweaters and wear them frequently! I have my eye on the rest, and I am sure it won’t be long until they are hanging in my closet too.





 *style tip- button up cardigans look so cute done up and tucked in front and it adds another outfit idea in to the rotation.















Old Navy

Old Navy is another go-to for me because I can shop for my whole family and they are almost always having a sale of some sort.





The cardigan on the far right has been a favorite of my followers for a few weeks, and a favorite of mine as well! It is a gorgeous color and pairs so nicely with a lot of different outfits. I also own the v-neck sweater and the color screams fall! It is also long enough to wear with leggings.

That cardigan is what dreams are made of friends. It comes in multiple colors and I can almost guarantee you’ll have a hard time choosing just one. Animal prints are a trend I am obsessed with this fall. Both of these sweaters would look great layered with a solid button up underneath, or worn alone. I have a chenille sweater that I purchased from another retailer for almost twice as much last year. This one comes in multiple colors, but I love that emerald shade to carry through to the holiday season!

Make it an Outfit

Distressed jeans and a hat would pair well with pretty much any of the sweaters above. If layering is your thing, a good graphic tee or loose tank are an easy add. Plaid shirts under cardigans or even under a solid pullover add a little pop to a fall outfit. I am also a big fan of pairing a pullover over a dress this fall!
